    IMPORTANT NOTE BEFORE YOU PURCHASE

    Please read carefully:

    • CIPS are updating Certificate, and Advanced Certificate Qualifications in 2018.
    • The last exam opportunity for the current module, and the rest of the current Certificate, and Advanced Certificate modules, is in November 2018.
    • Please only buy this book if you are confident you will be able to complete your studies in this time, as CIPS will not refund you for unused books.
    • Please note that current books will not be suitable for studying the updated qualifications. New resources for studying the updated qualifications will be available from October 2018 onwards.
    • Find out more about changes to CIPS qualifications.

With the introduction of the new qualifications, the distinction between the UK and international qualifications has been removed, and the current international advanced certificate will be withdrawn, with the current UK Level 3 certificate withdrawn at the same time. The advanced certificate in procurement and supply operations replaces both of these qualifications.

The recommended reading for this unit is Purchasing and Supply Chain Management 9/e by Lysons and Farrington.
