CombineNet has appointed Brett Cornell as senior vice president of strategic sourcing.
Cornell spent more than 20 years at the FMCG firm Johnson & Johnson (J&J), and most recently held the role of vice president and category leader of global packaging procurement.
He was one of the leaders of J&J's procurement sustainability initiative and championed the company’s procurement leadership development programme, in addition to working with over 1,000 suppliers to drive growth and cost-savings within the company.
Rich Wilson, CEO of CombineNet, said in a statement: “[Cornell] brings executive-level perspective into tackling complex spend categories and driving innovative procurement practices from his work at one of the world's largest corporations.
Cornell added: “I am thrilled to be joining CombineNet, as it is a dynamic, growing organisation with a strong solution that I believe can change the world of sourcing.”
