15 June 2010 | Steve Bagshaw

A total of 53 team entries and eight individuals have made it to the short list for the CIPS Supply Management Awards 2010, in association with BravoSolution.

Competition for the shortlisted positions has been immense, with 222 entries across the eight team and two individual categories. The step change category had a mind-boggling 42 entries alone.

Some organisations have been short listed in more than one category including AstraZeneca, Premier Foods, PZ Cussons, AXA UK, Network Rail and Surrey County Council.

The judging panel met yesterday to draw up the short list, below. They will meet again on 22 July to decide on the category winners and the overall winner.

The awards ceremony takes place on 8 September at the Grosvenor House Hotel in London, where around 1,200 people will gather to hear the identity of the winners of each of the 10 categories as well as the overall team victor.

The event sponsors are: American Express, Hays Procurement, QinetiQ Commerce Decisions and RS.

To book a table at the event please call Charlotte Bogaert on 020 7324 2764 or you can do so online here – or go to www.cipssmawards.com for more details.
