07 September 2006

Tina Fegent is heading a new procurement division at AAR, which provides a marketing search and selection service.

Fegent left advertising agency Lowe in May (**News, 8 June**) after the role of head of procurement was made redundant. She now works at AAR on a part-time basis and freelances.

The procurement service will initially cover contract and fee negotiation consultancy for client and agency appointments and training for marketing and procurement teams and agencies.

AAR said it decided to establish the new division in response to the increasing role of purchasing departments in this area.

Kerry Glazer, chief executive of AAR, said the firm was "delighted to have secured Fegent".

Previously Fegent worked for advertising agency Grey London and with firms including Orange, O2 and GSK.
