Solar technology manufacturer Astronergy (Chint Solar) has appointed procurement expert Thomas Heinl as general manager of Astronergy Solar Deutschland. Prior to joining Astronergy in February, Heinl was the director of strategic procurement for Conergy, a solar company based in Germany.  

Pamela Prince-Eason, the vice‑president of worldwide procurement for Pfizer Inc, has become chief executive at the Women’s Business Enterprise National Council (WBENC), a strong advocate for women’s businesses becoming suppliers to US corporations.   

Global supply chain specialist Crown Agents has appointed the former command secretary for the RAF, Terence Jagger, as its chief executive. Prior to his 16 years at the Ministry of Defence, Jagger worked for Shell and American Express.
