Athma has more than 14 years of experience in various aspects of global sourcing, procurement to payment supply chain management, contract management, supplier management, indirect tax compliance, logistics including warehouse management, inventory control, project management, process consulting and outsourcing, supported by a “track record of continuous process improvement and generating sustainable cost reductions”.

He is Certified Purchasing Manager (CPM) from ISM in the US; Certified in Production & Inventory Management (CPIM); a Certified Supply Chain Professional (CSCP) from American Production & Inventory Society (APICS), as well as Six Sigma Green Belt Certified and Certified ISO Auditor.

Prior to Wipro, Athma worked in various capacities in the procurement and supply chain function of leading Fortune 500 companies.

Athma holds a degree in electronics and post graduate diploma in business administration. In addition he holds a diploma in materials management as well as computer science and application.
